Acquired his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees from the Department of Computer Science of Cardiff University, UK. Worked for 4,5 years for European Dynamics S.A. as Director of the Thessaloniki branch,  Technical Consultant, Project Manager, and Database Administrator and Developer, in software development projects for various General Directorates of the European Commission. He holds the position of Professor of Applied Information Technology in the Department of Accounting and Finance of the TEI of Thessaly, Greece, since February 2003.
